Let's make it easy for ourselves. In a Mastermind, there is a synergy of positive energy, a collective commitment, and palpable excitement that members bring to a group. We quietly or loudly raise the bar by challenging each other to set and implement goals, create ideas, and support and contribute to each other. No one sits back, it is very active. All participants act as catalysts for growth, personal think tanks, and are smart, supportive colleagues.
The concept of the Mastermind Group was formally introduced by Napoleon Hill in the early 1900's. In his book, "Think And Grow Rich", he stated: "No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind". Even Benjamin Franklin belonged to such a group, which he called a Junto.
With a Mastermind, the agenda and the success belong to the group, and each person’s participation is imperative. It is like being and having your own Board of Directors. We all give feedback, help each other to brainstorm new possibilities, and set up accountability structures that keep us focused and on track.
We will create a community of supportive coaches who will brainstorm together to move the individual and group to new heights!
